California Wood

Pine trees in the Tahoe, California area are havens for this great looking moss. I’m no botanist, but I did learn that this particular pine tree is called the Ponderosa Pine. We don’t have these gigantic pines in Florida; therefore, my interest in these “new trees”. This tree was in Sugar Pine Point State Park, just south of Tahoma, California.
