Firefox 1.0 is now available for download. It is my preferred
browser on any Windows box. I just can’t seem to live sans tabs.
This morning the Mozilla server must have been taking a beating,
but now (12 PM EST) the install file downloaded in a flash.
I do like Safari, but I’m on XP most of the time, unfortunately.
What’s your favorite browser?
I’m still a Safari fan when it comes to OSX, where I spend 90% of my day. If it were up to my personal taste, Firefox would win on the PC…but the only reason I have a Windows machine in my office in the first place is checking IE compatibility for web design.
Shua: Safari is a fantastic browser, thats all I use when I’m on a Mac. IE compatibility, that’s an oxymoron I think.
And by “compatibility” I actually mean “frustratingly mysterious bugs i’ll have to try to fix.”
Everyone that works with CSS deals with that unfortunate frustration. I feel your pain.
